DUTCH BOAT REFUGEE FOUNDATION

DUTCH BOAT REFUGEE FOUNDATION is a non-governmental organization from Utrecht (Holland). In November 2015 the rescue mission on Lesvos was officially started with two lifeboats: the team of trained voluntary professionals comes into action with two fast rescue boats in case of drownings, and guards the boats safely to the shore. The Boat Refugee Foundation sailed the international waters between Libya and Italy with the rescue ship Golfo Azzurro for six weeks in 2016 (managed later by Proactiva Open Arms).
