MISSIONLAND

MISSIONLAND ONLUS is an Italian nongovernmental organization operating in a network of organizations with the aim of providing medical care in disaster response and through humanitarian assistance. Since 2009, Missionland Onlus has provided her expertise in construction procedures and delivery of shelter and facilities support. In 2016, Missionland Onlus supported the start up of “Xenia 34° North Project” in the south of Lampedusa in collaboration with various NGOs to build up the hospital ship “Elpis” with the deployment of medical containers for the stabilization of critical patients, but the project did not become active. On January 2016 start the “Asklepios Project” an important experience in the island of Lesbos (Greece), in collaboration with two medical NGOs, Rainbow For Africa and Waha, with the ‘Hope Clinic’ after a land trip across the Balkans and Turkey. After, the operative team of Missionland Onlus serving in the hospital of the rescue ship “Iuventa” in partnership with NGO Jugend Rettet.
